Alaska King Salmon

Our season is underway here at Mission Lodge and the fishing has been pretty good so far.  We have Kings in the Nushagak River and the run should build over the next the next few weeks.  Below are a couple pics from today of Kings and a bear that found a moose carcass to feast on.  More pics will be coming soon.

It's Alaska time!!  For those of you who have dates booked with me this fall I look forward to fishing with you and for those who are looking for dates I do have a very limited number of days available in September and October.  I also have about a dozen days left for November Steelhead.  Dates can be booked while I am in Alaska, the best avenue is to drop an e-mail or leave a voicemail containing your e-mail address, I can return calls but it can take time with my work schedule and the 4 hour time difference between Michigan and AK so your patience is appreciated.  Don't forget to check back here throughout the summer for updates from the land of the midnight sun, I will try to post an update with pictures once each week or two.  For now here are a few pics of what is to come this fall so book your november dates and see for yourself how much fun Fall Steelhead Fishing in Michigan can be.
