Alaska Update

We have had an awesome King season here in western Alaska with big numbers of fish pushing up the Nushagak River and just plain old big fish on the Togiak.  We are starting to see good numbers of sockeye, chum and king salmon starting to spawn so rainbows, dolly varden and arctic char are going to take center stage over the next few weeks while we wait for the silvers (coho) to start pushing into the rivers.  For anyone looking to fish with me in Michigan this fall for Kings or Steelhead I have a very limited number of open dates in September, October and November, for more info or to book a day or two, e-mail jeff@muskegonriverguide.com or leave a message at (616)204-4999 and I will get back to you asap.  And now for what everyone is really here for, some big fish!

7/16/2013  A hefty 32lb. King from the Nushagak River.

7/17/2013  A nice chrome King from the Togiak.

7/17/2013  Philippe with a nice King he caught back bouncing on the Togiak.
