Spring Steelhead

The Muskegon River has dropped but is still running high at 5,200 cfs. with a good stain and temp is in the high 40's.  Boat traffic is heavy for the first of May but that is to be expected after most folks did not get to fish the normal "prime time" of April.   We should have good fishing for the next few weeks and maybe longer depending on how long the dropbacks hang out.  Steelhead fishing has been very good and here are a couple pics from the yesterday and today.

5/1/2013  CJ and Pete with another double.

5/1/2013  The verdict was two at a time is better than one.  Fishing was on fire today.
