Steelhead fishing has been pretty good so far this fall. Numbers are not quite like last year at this time but we are finding plenty of willing biters. I have been a bit lazy with posting pictures lately but will play catch up right now.

Steelhead
It's time for me to switch gears from Salmon to Steelhead. The numbers are not very big yet but with some work a few can be found. Rain in the forecast could help things out but it is early.

Kings
Float fishing for Kings has been pretty good for us lately. Most of the fishing pressure is concentrated on the fish in shallow water leaving the fish staging in pool left alone except for the couple boats targeting them. There are a limited number of Steelhead around and numbers should grow soon. Look for Kings to keep trickling in over the next week or two with more Steelhead in tow. Here are a few pictures of egg hungry Kings over the last week or so. I will try to get back to the normal daily pictures but remember I said "try".
