Fall Steelhead
It’s fall Steelhead time in Michigan. Fish numbers are slowly increasing and hopefully some rain and cooler air temps will bring a good push of chrome fish. Here are a few of the fish we’ve been catching over the last couple weeks.

Muskegon River Fishing Report
Steelhead numbers are slowly increasing by the day. Once the water temp gets up a bit more things should get really interesting. In the mean time covering water and finding biters is the name of the game. Here are a few pictures from the last couple days.

Spring Steelhead?
If you’re going by the calendar, we are fishing for spring steelhead. But the weather has other ideas! Winter is having a hard time letting go, but the forecast shows that spring is coming sooner than later. Woke up to brutal cold temps this morning with so muc slush flowing down the river, would have made fishing impossible. But by the time we started mid day, the slush was gone and we were in the clear. Picture below are Ed and Fritz with a couple fish they put in the net today.

It’s March already but winter isn’t done with us yet. Looks like another little cold snap on the way for next week then the possibility of some mild weather on the way. There are Steelhead throughout the river and fishing has been decent when we’ve gotten out. We will likely get a good flush of water once it warms up with all the snow pack to the north. For those looking to book a trip this spring the time is now. Opening bags are limited. Ed and Fritz has a decent afternoon today, here are a couple of the fish they put in the net.
