Muskegon River Fishing Report

Steelhead fishing on the Muskegon River has been great the last few days, water level is very nice today rising to 4000 cfs with good color!!  High water is our favorite part of Spring Steelhead fishing.  Back bouncing spawn has produced most of our fish lately but we did take a few bites on plugs today.  Spent the day with Reed, his dad Joe and Scott in the ice/rain storm today, we had the river completely to ourselves!! 10 year old Reed did a fantastic job landing a bunch of Muskegon River Steelhead.  We found chrome males, hens and even a few darker holdover fish today, water temp was 35 so there is no need to worry about the "run" charging the Croton Dam just yet.  I had a cancellation for this sunday March 27 if anyone is interested it's my last open date for March.  I do have some openings for April, call (616)204-4999
