Muskegon River Steelhead

There are still decent numbers of Steelhead in the Muskegon River.  Float fishing has produced good numbers of hook ups every day for us.  Fishing in the gravel areas around spawning fish has been best as numbers of drop back fish sitting in the runs is decreasing.  I have the next few days off before finishing my Spring Steelhead season next week then it's off to Alaska and straight into Kings.  A reminder to any of you looking to boom Fall Salmon or Steelhead dates there is no time like the present.  I will be coming home from Alaska September 13 and plan to start King trips on the 15th.  I still have some openings for September, only a couple for early October and a handful of Steelhead dates in November.  Here are a couple of the fish that have hit the net the last few days.
